Culturally appropriate and religiously sensitive wellbeing support

In this video, Imam Mohammed Rashid highlights why it is important to understand how a person’s culture and religious beliefs can impact their mental health and wellbeing, and how open (or not) they may be to support.

Mohammed is a Mental Health Chaplain with the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Foundation Trust. 

He is more than happy to provide bespoke training, support and guidance to community organisations and groups to enable them to meet their clients/service users’ needs in an inclusive manner. He has delivered training on topics such as ‘Mental Health, Culture and Spirituality’, ‘Cultural Understanding Affecting Practice’ among other topics.
