The Bobby Scheme is a registered charity supporting victims of crime who are over 60, disabled, vulnerable and victims of domestic abuse. The charity gives expert advice on securing your home and staying safe. They install high quality, effective devices around the home.

The name ‘Bobby Scheme’ reflects the fact that two organisations were primarily responsible for its creation – Cambridgeshire Constabulary and The Office of High Sheriff.  The Bobby Scheme was established in 2001 by the Cambridgeshire Police Shrievalty Trust.

Its aim is to reduce crime and fear of crime of older, vulnerable and disabled people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, thereby improving their quality of life, increased independence and safety.

  • Pro Active home visits available to those over 65 who have not been a victim of crime but may be feeling vulnerable
